Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Project Engineering Manager for Water & Wastewater to lead multi-disciplinary teams, oversee budgets, and coordinate with clients on complex municipal water projects. The role emphasizes mentoring staff, managing schedules, and ensuring project goals are met with high quality and safety standards.

Hybrid work arrangement is available after onboarding; relocation is eligible and Visa Sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience in engineering roles.
• Ability to obtain pre-employment background check and other screenings.
• Professional engineering licensure (PE) preferred.
• Experience with multi-discipline water treatment projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians on municipal projects.
• Supervise and mentor engineering staff, identifying growth opportunities.
• Manage budgets, scheduling, and client communications for projects.
• Coordinate with clients and project management for project execution.
