Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. in the Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Project Engineer (Water/Wastewater construction) open to candidates in DC, Maryland, Virginia. You will work onsite with the Team to plan, develop, coordinate, and manage onsite construction engineering activities.

Responsibilities include leading project engineering staff, ensuring schedule conformance, providing technical support, managing submittals and RFIs, and interfacing with clients and design teams to resolve conflicts and maintain quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent
• 5+ years of construction engineering experience
• Bridge experience is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities.
• Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule (Primavera P6).
• Provide technical support for construction effort including participation in construction planning and design; interpretation of design; application of construction methods; resolution and documentation of design conflicts; contractibility reviews, etc.
