Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer (Water/Wastewater construction) in the Mid-Atlantic region, open to candidates in the DC, Maryland, Virginia markets. You will work onsite with the Team to plan, develop, coordinate, and manage onsite construction engineering activities for Water/Wastewater projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of similar construction engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Bridge experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and manage onsite construction engineering activities for Water/Wastewater projects.
• Manage project engineering personnel, assignments and performance.
• Support construction planning, design interpretation and resolution of design conflicts.
• Develop and administer project engineering procedures (submittals, RFIs, expediting material deliveries).
• Represent company in meetings with A/E, client and project management teams.
• Interface with all on-site departments to resolve problems and maintain schedule.
• Oversee pre-construction, design-build services and business development for the project.
