Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Project Engineer (Water/Wastewater construction) in the Mid-Atlantic, open to candidates in the DC, Maryland, Virginia markets. Work onsite with the Team to plan, develop, coordinate, and manage onsite construction engineering activities for Water/Wastewater projects.

We welcome candidates with heavy commercial, highway, or industrial experience; a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 5+ years of related work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of similar construction engineering experience.
• Bridge experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering personnel and activities.
• Ensure activities align with schedule (Primavera P6) and contract requirements.
• Provide technical support for design, constructability reviews, and documentation.
• Prepare and administer submittals, RFIs, and vendor payments.
• Interface with on-site teams and participate in project meetings.
• Support pre-construction, design-build, and business development efforts.
