Job summary

Ardurra Group, Inc. in Charleston, SC, is seeking a Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater to plan, design, and possibly manage multidiscipline projects for municipal clients.

You will perform technical design, hydraulic modeling, and potentially lead a team of engineers, EITs, CAD technicians, and sub consultants. Responsibilities include developing designs and cost estimates for treatment plants, pipelines, and pump stations; coordinating with multiple departments; creating hydraulic models; and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
• 4+ years of related water/wastewater design, permitting and construction.
• P.E. license preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients, contractors and regulators.
• Strong technical writing for reports and studies.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or with minimal instruction.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD (2020+) and hydraulic modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, tanks and other water/wastewater systems.
• Guide, direct and coordinate with multiple departments and sub-consultants for multi-discipline projects.
• Create, calibrate and modify hydraulic models and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Assist Project Managers with allocation of junior staff and project workloads.
• Prepare and review technical specifications and cost estimates.
• Meet with clients and perform business development duties with potential clients.
