Job summary

PC Construction Company in Frederick, MD is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Water and Wastewater treatment facilities team. The right candidate will have a degree in engineering or construction management, plus three years of experience directing and delivering construction projects and managing the admin activities.

You will work closely with owner, design and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle, with a focus on mechanical, electrical and plumbing scopes and a solid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
• Minimum three years of directing, completing and managing the financial outcome of construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP scopes and understanding of architectural, civil, structural and other commercial construction aspects.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and distribute bid packages.
• Obtain scopes of work and quotations from subcontractors and vendors.
• Review and negotiate subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor communications and schedules.
• Prepare and track project documentation and logs.
• Review design drawings and specifications for issues and compliance.
• Generate RFIs and process submittals to avoid delays.
• Maintain project schedule and update progress regularly.
• Monitor material deliveries for contract compliance.
• Assist with budget changes and job cost allocation.
