Job summary

Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to support Potomac Interceptor projects. The role focuses on planning, designs, submittals, and coordination with stakeholders while helping manage schedules and budgets.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of engineering design experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and a Maryland or Virginia PE license (or able to obtain within six months). This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in the DC area.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of relevant engineering design experience.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Maryland or Virginia PE license required or ability to obtain within six months.
• Familiarity with project management software and Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills preferred.
• Resume must reflect relevant work experience in the USA; local/regional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers on large diameter sewer rehabilitation projects with project planning and permitting planning.
• Support designs, construction submittal reviews, and coordination with stakeholders.
• Manage project schedules and budgets.
