Job summary

Ardurra in Austin, TX seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our staff. You will perform design, analyses, and construction administration for municipal water and wastewater projects, including treatment facilities, pipelines, and pump stations.

Under general supervision you will gather data, run models, prepare reports, and assist with design drawings, cost estimates, and funding research. Strong communication and initiative are essential to advance projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 8+ years of water, wastewater, and/or floodplain/stormwater experience.
• Texas PE license required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software is a plus.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather data for engineering analyses from diverse sources.
• Perform calculations and design studies using standard engineering methods.
• Assist in preparing engineering reports, documents, and cost estimates.
• Conduct field data collection and ensure data integrity and quality control.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and construction cost estimates for projects.
• Support funding research and grant activities for clients.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to deliver projects.
