Job summary

Wilson Engineers in Tempe, AZ seeks a Project Engineer with 3+ years of experience to design water and wastewater infrastructure and manage multiple assignments. You will coordinate with CAD designers and engineers, prepare reports, and support project budgets and schedules.

The role offers growth, mentorship, and a collaborative, client-focused environment. Ideal candidates hold a Civil/Environmental degree, an EIT; PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience.
• EIT certification required.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain licensure.
• Experience with municipal water and/or wastewater projects preferred.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common engineering software.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs and technical documents for water and wastewater projects.
• Manage multiple engineering assignments with quality, schedule, and budget in mind.
• Coordinate with CAD designers and other engineers and subconsultants.
• Review calculations, shop drawings, RFIs, and O&M manuals.
• Conduct site visits to verify conditions and collect field data.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, figures, specifications, and permit applications.
• Assist in scopes, schedules, staffing, and budgets.
• Coordinate deliverables to support QA and client submittals.
• Work with Project Managers to deliver projects and mentor interns.
