Job summary
Dewberry has an immediate opening for a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer in our Parsippany, NJ office. You’ll work on planning, design and construction phase engineering for water and wastewater facilities, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams on pumps, pipelines, tanks and treatment facilities.
The candidate should have a BS in civil engineering, 4–6 years’ related experience, and NJ PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year; familiarity with WaterCAD/SewerCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D and
Qualifications
- BS in civil engineering or related field.
- 4–6 years of related water/wastewater experience.
- NJ PE license strongly preferred or obtainable within 1 year.
- Experience with hydraulic modeling including WaterCAD and SewerCAD preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS.
- Experience coordinating engineering work and interfacing with other disciplines.
- Willingness to travel; driving with clean record.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will collaborate within multi-disciplined teams for planning, evaluation and design of water and wastewater system improvements (pumps, pipelines, storage tanks, treatment facilities).
- Perform technical tasks including research, reports, design, specifications, and plan preparation for water and wastewater projects.
