Job summary

Ardurra Group, Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to plan, design, and oversee projects for municipal clients throughout North Carolina and the Southeast.

You will work with engineers, EITs, CAD technicians, and subconsultants to develop designs, specifications, and cost estimates for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, and storage facilities, while ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
• At least four years of experience is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
• Advanced understanding of water treatment/distribution and wastewater collection/treatment principles and state regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, tanks and other water/wastewater storage and conveyance systems.
• Perform or manage engineering design, hydraulics, pumping systems, and treatment process projects.
• Coordinate with multiple departments and sub-consultants required for multi-discipline projects.
• Research and utilize available resources to support designs.
• Lead or assist a project team to complete multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Gather data for engineering analyses and prepare design calculations and reports.
• Prepare design drawings, technical specifications, material take-offs, and construction cost estimates.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
