Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our staff in Raleigh, NC. This role focuses on planning, design, construction administration, and possibly management of multi-discipline projects for municipal clients in North Carolina and the Southeast.

The engineer will develop detailed designs and specifications for water and wastewater treatment and distribution systems, coordinate with engineers, EITs, CAD technicians, and subconsultants, and prepare reports and cost estimates

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field required.
At least four years of experience.
Professional Engineers License preferred but not required.
Advanced understanding of water treatment/distribution and wastewater collection/treatment principles and state regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates for water/wastewater facilities and related systems.
Perform design, hydraulics, pumping systems, and treatment process tasks.
Coordinate with multiple departments and sub-consultants on multi-discipline projects.
Lead or assist project teams to complete multiple projects.
Prepare design drawings, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates.
