Job summary

Carollo Engineers in Virginia is seeking a senior engineer to lead design, rehabilitation, and construction of water, wastewater, and reuse facilities in the Arlington area.

The role requires 10+ years in the water sector with PM experience and a Professional Engineer license. Responsibilities include client management, budgeting, planning, and coordination across teams, with a focus on delivering high-quality projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechnical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of water industry experience with at least five years of project management experience.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with clients and project team.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering work in design, rehabilitation, and/or construction of water, wastewater, and reuse treatment facilities.
• Develops plans, specifications, and cost estimates for projects; supports permitting and alternative analysis.
• Manages budgets, schedules, and contractual obligations; ensures quality standards and client relations.
