Job summary

Dewberry seeks a Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater Treatment to lead and execute complex wastewater projects for public utilities from our Fairfax, VA office. You will guide engineers and professionals, oversee schedules and budgets, and collaborate with the Mid-Atlantic Water Market Segment to pursue new opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of water/wastewater experience, a Civil/Environmental/Mechanical/Energy engineering degree, and a Virginia/MD/DC NC PE license or

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical/Chemical/Environmental Engineering required.
• At least 10 years of experience in water/wastewater.
• P.E. license in VA/MD/DC/NC or reciprocity within one year of start date.
• Strong track record managing projects, scope, schedule and budget.
• Proven client management and business development experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Programming or scripting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead wastewater treatment design projects for public utility clients.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, technicians, inspectors, and permitting specialists.
• Support business development and client interaction; participate in proposals.
