Job summary

Carollo Engineers, a leading water-focused engineering firm, invites a senior civil/environmental engineer to lead design and project management for water, wastewater, and reuse facilities.

With 10+ years in the water industry and a PE license, you will guide projects from concept through construction, manage budgets and schedules, and develop client relationships. This full-time role is based in Arlington, VA, offering competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years in the water industry with at least five years of project management experience.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience in design and construction phases with budget, schedule, and quality responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering work in design, rehabilitation, and/or construction of water, wastewater, and reuse facilities.
• Prepare reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water-related projects.
• Develop technical memoranda, participate in proposal development, and interact with clients.
• Manage budgets, schedules, contractual obligations, and quality standards on medium to large projects.
• Collaborate with supervisors, mentor internal staff, and build client relationships.
