Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a Water/Wastewater Program Manager to join our Red River Area Public Works Team. The role focuses on municipal water and/or wastewater systems, providing technical leadership and client-focused project delivery.

The position supports growth in Texas and Oklahoma, with office options in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, or Houston. Candidates should have strong leadership, design, and communication skills and be driven by quality and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Master's preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 8+ years of related water/wastewater facilities engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes and hydraulic design.
• Experience with project management, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Business development; client contacts and lead engagements required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in technical, cost, and scheduling decisions for water/wastewater projects.
• Manage projects with multidisciplinary teams and ensure quality standards.
• Grow client relationships and contract value with municipal clients.
• Contribute to project scoping, proposals, and presentations.
• Mentor staff and drive continuous technical development.
• Represent the firm at conferences and technical committees.
