Job summary

Kleinfelder's Design Services is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead municipal water and wastewater projects in Texas. The role emphasizes technical leadership, collaboration with engineers and planners, and delivering high-quality solutions for public works clients.

You will sit in our Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, or Houston offices, guiding project teams, mentoring staff, and expanding client relationships while ensuring scope, schedule, and budget are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering; Master's preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 7+ years of experience in water and wastewater facilities engineering.
• Strong knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes and design.
• Experience with project management, budgeting, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in technical, cost, and scheduling decisions to meet quality standards.
• Manage water and/or wastewater projects for municipal clients with project teams.
• Grow client relationships and contracts for complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Participate in scope development and proposal presentations for targeted clients.
• Mentor staff development and manage project delivery, conferences, and committees.
