Job summary

MGC Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical/Process Equipment Installer to join our Texas Division in the San Antonio/New Braunfels area. You will install pumps, blowers, clarifiers, and water filtration systems, align and anchor equipment, and coordinate with crane rigging as needed.

A High School Diploma or GED is required, with 3–5 years of water/wastewater experience preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role with potential overtime and outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3–5 years of related water/wastewater industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install pumps, blowers, clarifiers, water filtration systems, flanged piping, influent fine screens, and aeration basin systems.
• Understand the process of equipment installation, alignment and anchoring.
• Knowledge of crane rigging and signaling.
• Knowledge of different piping materials (PVC, steel, SST, DIP) and connections.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
