Job summary

MGC Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical/Process Equipment Installer to join our Texas Division in the San Antonio/New Braunfels area. You will install pumps, blowers, clarifiers, and filtration systems, ensuring proper alignment and anchoring of equipment.

The role requires knowledge of piping materials (PVC, steel, SST, DIP), crane rigging, and operation of forklifts and lifts. At least a High School diploma and 3–5 years in water/wastewater are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years water/wastewater experience preferred.
• Ability to read prints and follow installation specs.

Responsibilities

• Install process equipment such as pumps, blowers, clarifiers, water filtration systems, piping (above ground).
• Understand equipment installation, alignment, and anchoring processes.
• Knowledge of crane rigging and signaling.
• Knowledge of piping materials and connections (PVC, Steel, SST, DIP).
• Operate forklift, scissor lift and boom lift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
