Job summary

MGC Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical/Process Equipment Installer to join our Texas Division in the Austin area.

The role involves installing pumps, blowers, clarifiers, water filtration systems, flanged above ground piping, influent fine screens, and aeration basin systems, with emphasis on alignment and anchoring. The position requires working on professional construction sites, outdoors in all weather, and may involve overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of water/wastewater experience preferred.
• Experience with process equipment installation, alignment and anchoring.

Responsibilities

• Install process equipment such as pumps, blowers, clarifiers, water filtration systems, and piping.
• Understand the process of equipment installation, alignment, and anchoring.
• Knowledge of crane rigging and signaling.
• Knowledge of different piping materials: PVC, steel, SST, and DIP.
• Operate forklift, scissor lift and boom lift safely and as required.
