Freese and Nichols, Inc. in Dallas, TX, seeks a Water/Wastewater Transmission and Utilities Project Manager to lead projects from study through construction, including pump stations, pipelines, and utility infrastructure.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with clients, regulators, and contractors, and ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence while leveraging a hybrid work model with strong benefits.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required in civil or mechanical engineering.
• Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 6+ years of experience designing water/wastewater facilities and pipelines.
• Experience managing projects through study, design, and construction.
• Experience leading technical staff and reviewing engineering work.
• Preferred 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience serving as the primary client contact for municipal infrastructure projects.
• Experience coordinating with regulatory agencies, vendors, contractors, and partner firms.
• Experience reviewing shop drawings and selecting equipment and materials for conveyance projects.
• Experience managing and supervising staff.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary client contact and inform clients on project status, schedule, and key decisions.
• Manage projects through study, design, and construction phases for pump stations, lift stations, pipelines, and utility work.
• Supervise licensed PEs and other engineering staff, providing technical direction and growth.
• Perform and direct complex studies and investigations and prepare reports of findings.
• Coordinate project phases to keep work aligned with scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Select equipment and materials and review manufacturer shop drawings for project use.
• Review calculations, seal drawings and reports, and maintain continuity, conformity, and quality across deliverables.
• Direct assignments, schedule work, and provide technical oversight to engineers, technicians, designers, drafters, and field representatives.
• Advise construction teams on questions and issues and communicate with agencies, vendors, contractors, and partner firms.
