Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a dedicated Water/Wastewater Technician to participate in the operation, maintenance and repair of treatment facilities. Pay range $21-$25 per hour. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, collecting samples, running tests, and maintaining records.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, some related experience, and valid MI water licenses within 2.5 years. Driver's license and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Some water and/or wastewater experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with all levels in a professional manner.
• Safety procedures in maintenance and operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate wastewater treatment plant equipment and make minor repairs.
• Collect samples, run tests, and maintain accurate records.
• Assist regulatory representatives during inspections and maintain plant reports.
