Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC seeks a seasoned supervisor to lead a water/wastewater operations team in Boise, Idaho, ensuring safe, compliant plant operations and treatment performance.

You will oversee shift assignments, coordinate maintenance, and drive continuous improvements in process control, safety, and regulatory reporting while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet permit requirements and company goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related field (24 credits in Chemistry is a plus) or equivalent related experience.
• Five to seven years in various positions within a water / wastewater treatment environment.
• Lead experience or supervisory training required with understanding of human relations, training, performance evaluation and health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assigns personnel to shifts and plans daily schedules to operate filtering and chemical treatment, coagulation and settling basins, and other plant facilities.
• Oversees hiring, performance appraisals, coaching and counseling team; coordinates safety training and input for salary changes.
• Prepares work orders from CMMS and prepares related reports, charts and data submittals.
• Ensures consistent process control and quality assurance procedures; maintains uniform monitoring and recordkeeping facility-wide.
• Reviews water reports and prepares analyses for internal and regulatory purposes.
• Provides leadership to achieve safety goals and manages safety and environmental issues with compliance.
• Maintains maintenance schedules and assists in diagnosing complex equipment failures.
• Recommends action plans for emergencies and executes plans when necessary.
