Job summary

Inframark is hiring an Operator I to support operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment equipment. This entry-level role requires a water or wastewater license minimum and the ability to work all shifts.

You will monitor processes, conduct routine testing, document plant performance, and assist with basic laboratory analyses. CDL or driver’s license and state-specific licenses may be required by site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License; CDL preferred.
• Water/Wastewater Operator’s License as per state/site requirements.
• Licenses may vary by site/assignment.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment and machinery including valves, pumps, motors, etc.
• Conducts routine testing, monitoring and maintenance of wells and unit processes.
• Documents plant performance including daily flow and chemical usage.
• Responds to call outs and after-hours emergencies to repair equipment.
• Ensures facilities are clean, neat and secure.
• Provides customer service when necessary.
• Works all shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Performs and documents maintenance of treatment facility equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
