Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a entry-level operations technician to support day-to-day monitoring of water and wastewater processes and perform basic maintenance tasks. You will collect samples, run routine lab tests, calibrate instruments, and assist with preventive repairs while following safety and environmental policies.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to read English instructions, and some hands-on tool experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and ability to read/understand English instructions.
• 0–2 years’ related experience preferred in a similar environment.
• Experience using hand and power tools and shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment manually and via instrumentation following procedures.
• Performs routine CLAIR on machines and related equipment.
• Collects water, wastewater, and industrial samples; conducts field tests.
• Performs routine lab tests and prepares reports.
• Learns to inspect and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Performs facility maintenance and basic repairs as needed.
• May participate in 24-hour on-call rotation.
