Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking qualified Operations & Maintenance Technicians in Missouri to join our employee‑owned team. You will inspect and repair sewer mains and manholes and operate machinery such as excavators, backhoes, and lining tools while supporting on‑call responsiveness.

We value safety, reliability, and a strong work ethic. A high school diploma is required; CDL with tanker endorsement is a plus or can be obtained within 6 months. On‑site work in varied weather conditions is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training is a plus.
• Ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Experience or training in wastewater/utility maintenance is preferred.
• Must obtain state CDL with tanker endorsement within 6 months (if not already held).
• Strong communication skills and safety-conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair sanitary sewer mains and manholes as part of daily duties.
• Operate heavy equipment and assist with yard activities following installation operations.
• Respond to customer issues and support on-call rotation.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in background checks and screenings.
