Alliance Water Resources is seeking a temporary Utility Worker I in the Rolla, MO area to perform a range of semi-skilled and unskilled tasks related to water and wastewater facilities and equipment. The role operates under general supervision with a Monday–Friday 7:30 am–4:00 pm schedule and On-Call/Standby hours.

Primary duties include troubleshooting, maintenance, inspections, and record-keeping for pumps, meters, lines, and related infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with hands-on mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of safety standards and precautions in water/wastewater operations.
• Ability to use and maintain tools, equipment, and computers used in operations.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with coworkers, clients, vendors, and the public.
• Physical ability to perform heavy labor, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical problems; conducts rounds to monitor plant operations and evaluate equipment performance.
• Performs maintenance and repair on water/wastewater plant equipment such as pumps, meters, lift stations, valves, and lines.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment related to water/wastewater operations and grounds maintenance.
• Cleans and maintains facilities and tools; completes paperwork and records test results per procedures.
• Assists in installation, inspections, and location of water/sewer mains and appurtenances; orders supplies as directed.
