The City of Wentzville is seeking a Wastewater Operator I for the Water Reclamation Center in Wentzville, MO. You will assist with daily operations and basic maintenance to protect water resources and public health.

Requirements include at least one year of wastewater operations experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain MO certifications within 180 days. On-call rotations and after-hours duties may apply, with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in inspection and operation of wastewater treatment operations and equipment.
• Ability to obtain required certifications within 180 days where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Inspect and maintain the Water Reclamation Center daily.
• Perform custodial and grounds maintenance for Wastewater Division facilities.
• Operate vehicles and heavy equipment (front-end loader, skid loader, telehandler forklift, tanker truck, dump truck, and tractors with biosolids equipment).
• Support Biosolids Management by operating dewatering and application equipment and sampling soil.
• Assist with water sample collection and laboratory procedures.
• Provide professional customer service and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
