Job summary

Inframark in Tifton, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to maintain pumps, motors, and electrical systems at our water facilities and respond to breakdowns. You will perform preventive maintenance, complete work orders, and document activities using tablets and computerized systems, contributing to safe, reliable operations and environmental protection.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and is willing to work outdoors and learn on the job.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
One year of related experience is a plus.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Basic understanding of electrical systems and use of hand and power tools.
Willingness to learn, work outdoors, and respond to emergency situations when needed.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, bearings, seals, gearboxes, and electrical components.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance calls.
Conduct inspections of pump stations and facility equipment.
Complete work orders and maintenance documentation using tablets and computerized systems.
Assist with facility upkeep and grounds maintenance as needed.
Support safe and reliable operations that protect public health and the environment.
