Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience in maintenance/repair of mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic equipment at water/wastewater facilities.
• Must possess and maintain certification in water distribution and wastewater collection.
• Commercial driver's license within one year of hire.
• Safety sensitive position with random drug testing and related policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs of mechanical, electrical and communication equipment at facilities.
• Inspects, maintains and repairs pumps, valves, tanks, and related equipment; replaces parts as needed.
• Troubleshoots electrical problems; assists licensed electricians and contractors with high voltage work.
• Maintains inventory, processes work orders, and tracks supplies for daily tasks.
• Remains on-call to perform emergency tasks and coordinates with contractors on various projects.
