Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Taylor, TX is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Technician to lead maintenance of instrumentation systems in an industrial wastewater and UPW plant. You will guide a multi-disciplinary team and drive preventive maintenance, capital‑project upgrades, and regulatory compliance to maximize plant availability and water quality.

You will use CMMS (Maximo, SAP PM) and analytics tools (PI, PowerBI) to monitor performance, conduct RCA, and support control‑loop

Qualifications

• 7+ years of instrumentation experience.
• Proficiency with CMMS and reliability analytics.
• Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute maintenance strategies for instrumentation and analyzers.
• Track reliability metrics (MTBF, MTTR) for instrumentation.
• Lead capital-project upgrades for instruments and control systems.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure EPA/OSHA/ISO compliance and maintain records.
• Utilize CMMS and analytics tools for condition monitoring.
