Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a Senior Instrumentation Technician to lead instrumentation systems in our industrial wastewater and UPW plants. You will drive preventive and predictive maintenance, guide upgrades, and ensure safety, environmental, and quality compliance.

You will act as the technical authority for troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous-improvement initiatives to maximize plant availability and water quality, while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and

Qualifications

High school diploma or technician degree preferred.
7+ years of instrumentation experience.
Proficiency with CMMS and reliability maintenance.
Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute preventive- and predictive-maintenance programs for instrumentation and analyzers.
Track reliability metrics (MTBF, MTTR) for instrumentation and analytical equipment.
Lead capital-project management: scope, budget, procure, and commission upgrades.
Conduct FMEA and RCA for major instrument failures and implement improvements.
Use CMMS and analytics platforms for condition monitoring and optimization.
Provide expert troubleshooting for electrical and instrumentation issues.
