Job summary

Highlands Ranch Water in Highlands Ranch, CO is seeking a hands-on Collections & Distribution Lines Technician to join our operations team. You’ll perform inspections, maintenance, and emergency response to keep water and wastewater systems running smoothly for residents.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to respond within 30 minutes while on call. This on-site role involves operating trucks and heavy equipment with safety protocols.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable Motor Vehicle record.
Availability to work non-scheduled hours when necessary.
Respond to District Facilities within approximately 30 minutes while on call.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections and maintenance on water distribution and wastewater collection equipment.
Repair and replace pipes, valves, hydrants, and other system appurtenances.
Operate district trucks and heavy equipment in a safe manner.
Coordinate with divisions to avoid service interruptions.
Provide quality customer service and timely updates on service calls.
