Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' construction experience focusing on instrumentation and control systems.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage systems.
• Experience managing Instrumentation and Controls and Low Voltage subcontracts and relationships.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is a plus.
• Water/wastewater construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a comprehensive commissioning schedule from baseline CPM for all Instrumentation and Controls and LV start-up activities.
• Review Contract Documents related to Instrumentation and Controls and LV commissioning.
• Act as liaison with Commissioning Agent, owner, and LV subcontractors to ensure on-schedule commissioning.
• Assist Scheduling in CPM schedules for start-up, BMS controls, commissioning, and related activities.
• Coordinate activities, materials procurement, and related efforts with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Field Staff.
• Monitor installation and start-up with Engineer, Commissioning Agent, Inspectors, and Owner's Representatives.
• Represent McCarthy in all matters related to Instrumentation and Controls and LV process at project meetings.
• Supervise, develop, and mentor Instrumentation and Controls and LV staff.
