McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Superintendent to lead field operations on water/wastewater construction projects in Houston.

The role requires coordinating commissioning activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring that Instrumentation and Low Voltage systems meet design, safety, and schedule requirements. The ideal candidate offers deep field expertise, strong communication skills, and a track record of quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in construction with a focus on instrumentation, controls and low voltage coordination.
• Thorough knowledge of MEP systems and building/process commissioning.
• Ability to lead a large team and manage subcontractors successfully.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a commissioning schedule for Instrumentation, Controls and Low Voltage systems.
• Coordinate with commissioning agent, owner, and subcontractors to ensure on-time startup.
• Review submittals and approve materials for Instrumentation and Low Voltage systems.
• Supervise staff and mentor ICC/Low Voltage personnel on project sites.
• Represent McCarthy in project meetings and drive quality and schedule commitments.
