Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction focusing on Instrumentation and Controls and Low Voltage coordination.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage systems including commissioning.
• General understanding of Building, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Codes for construction.
• Experience managing I&C and LV subcontracts and relationships.
• Ability to work in a large team with a problem-solving, project-first mentality.
• Ownership mindset to identify issues, drive resolution and ensure first-time correctness.
• Water/Wastewater construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a commissioning schedule for all I&C and LV start-up activities.
• Review contract documents related to I&C and LV commissioning.
• Liaise with Commissioning Agent, owner, and LV subcontractors to ensure proper commissioning on schedule.
• Assist Scheduling in CPM scheduling for I&C and LV activities, including cost and resources.
• Coordinate project logistics and temporary facilities for subcontractors.
• Review submittals and approve material/equipment for I&C and LV systems.
• Monitor installation and start-up with engineers, inspectors, and owners' reps.
• Coordinate procurement and related efforts with PMs, Superintendents, and field staff.
• Communicate progress and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Represent McCarthy at project meetings on I&C/LV processes.
• Supervise and mentor I&C and LV staff.
