Qualifications

• All required jurisdictional certificates and state requirements.
• Recognizes and escalates discrepancies or conflicts within documents.
• Interprets and understands schedules to provide feedback.
• Operates relevant testing equipment to assigned duties.
• Understands Microsoft Office Suite and other computer skills at an advanced level.
• Calculates complex pay quantities.
• Identifies, documents, and escalates change conditions.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily inspection of multiple routine activities performed by contractors to monitor compliance with plans, specifications, and contract provisions.
• Maintain daily inspection logs and review discrepancies or changes with the Field Engineer.
• Observe, document, and verify construction work in progress for compliance with contract documents and plans.
• Confirm procedures are followed and materials conform to specifications.
• Perform standard mathematical calculations and measurements of completed work.
• Maintain Inspector's daily reports covering work activities, contractor labor and equipment, and received/verified material quantities.
• Perform on-site material testing.
• Produce as-constructed sketches as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
