Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Construction Inspector for our Egg Harbor Twp, NJ office. The role involves construction observation across water, sewer, storm, and roadway projects, serving as liaison with contractors, and supporting engineers with daily reports and final closeout.

Ideal candidates have 5–15 years of municipal project experience, NICET certifications or active pursuit, and strong communication and writing skills. Entry involves full-time duties during standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Must have NICET certifications or be actively pursuing them.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience observing municipal, county, state, and federal construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as Resident Project Representative and liaison with Contractor.
• Attend pre-construction and progress meetings.
• Conduct on-site observations for conformance with contract documents.
• Maintain project records and daily diaries/logs.
• Review payment applications with Engineer and prepare progress recommendations.
• Prepare final punch list at substantial completion and closeout.
