Job summary

Selectlee is seeking a Water/Wastewater Foreman to lead field crews on wastewater construction projects. You will ensure safe, efficient, on-schedule execution while adhering to project specs and regulatory requirements.

You will coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors, mentor field personnel, and communicate progress to Project Managers and Superintendents. Strong knowledge of water systems and OSHA regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• This is a UA union position; membership in UA Local or willingness to join is required.
• 5+ years of Water/Wastewater, underground utility, or heavy civil construction experience preferred.
• Previous foreman or crew leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead Water/Wastewater construction crews on job sites.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate daily work activities to meet schedules and productivity goals.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors for efficient execution.
• Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and OSHA compliance.
• Monitor workmanship to ensure quality standards and contract requirements.
• Communicate project progress and resource needs with Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Track daily production, labor hours, equipment usage, and jobsite documentation.
• Identify and resolve field issues to minimize project delays.
• Assist with project layout and verification of grades, elevations, and installation requirements.
• Train, mentor, and develop field personnel; promote teamwork and accountability.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with local municipalities and regulatory agencies.
