Flow Control Group's Fluid Process & Pumps unit in Harahan, LA is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair water and wastewater equipment at municipal and commercial sites.

You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, install and commission new equipment, and service VFDs, motors, panels, and instrumentation while adhering to safety practices.

Qualifications

• Technician should have a high school diploma; technical degree, apprenticeship, or trade certification is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience servicing industrial equipment; water/wastewater experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Willingness to travel regionally and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
• Ability to read blueprints, P&IDs, and electrical schematics.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical failures in water/wastewater equipment (pumps, submersibles, aerators, mixers, valves, screening).
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections, alignments, and part replacements to prevent downtime.
• Install and commission new equipment and control systems at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot VFDs, motors, panels, sensors, and basic PLCs.
• Provide on-site customer service and basic operational training.
