Job summary

Flowserve Baton Rouge is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites to troubleshoot and repair Flowserve Control Valve products, perform on-site maintenance, and support installation of spare parts.

You will conduct valve walkdowns, document work, provide safety training, and coordinate with engineering for failure analysis; requires 3-5 years in control valves, strong diagnostic skills, and proficiency with HART/Modbus/Foundation Fieldbus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in control valve experience (assembly, repair, & troubleshooting).
• Ability to explain digital and mechanical concepts and recommendations clearly.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Advise plant personnel on correct maintenance and operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate job paperwork and time/materials records.
• Perform valve walkdowns at customer facilities for preplanning outages.
• Provide daily progress reports to customer and manager.
• Troubleshoot and repair Flowserve control valve products in the field.
• Support engineering with failure evaluations and diagnostics.
• Conduct on-site safety training and complete JSEA before work performed.
