Water Otter Job Board is seeking Maintenance Workers to support the San Bernardino County Public Works Department – Water and Sanitation Division. These are extra-help, non-regular roles up to 12 months, up to 29 hours per week, requiring outdoor outdoor work and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Applicants must have a CA Class A driver license and SWRCB water certifications, and be prepared for travel within the county and weekends/holidays as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Must be able to perform heavy manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must possess a valid CA Class A driver license and SWRCB water certifications.
• Six (6) semester units in Environmental Science, Biology, Physics, or Water/Wastewater Technology required.
• Must be able to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds and work weekends/holidays as needed.

• Assist with routine field and facility maintenance tasks to support water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
• Support operation and maintenance activities to ensure reliable service for communities.
