Job summary

Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is hiring for an entry-level field support role focused on water and wastewater services. The position supports installation, maintenance, and repair of sewer infrastructure while engaging with customers to resolve inquiries.

Required is a high school diploma or GED and a valid U.S. driver’s license; no prior experience is required, though mechanical/electrical familiarity is a plus. This role offers growth within a major utility provider.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; mechanical and/or electrical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as backhoe, sewer TV inspection equipment, vacuum/jetter truck and pumps.
• Install, maintain and repair wastewater pipes, manholes, pumps, service lines and related appurtenances.
• Meet with customers and resolve inquiries regarding sewer utility service.
• Read, understand and apply information from plans, drawings, schematics and manuals.
• Perform construction inspections and tests of pipes, hydrants, meters and appurtenances.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE.
