Job summary

Hach, a Veralto company, is hiring a Field Service Technician I based in the Houston, TX area with daily travel to customer sites within a 2-hour radius. You will perform preventive maintenance, calibration/verification, and routine repairs on water analysis devices at municipal and industrial facilities, delivering on-site service and accurate reports.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; Associates/technical degree preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in preventative maintenance and diagnostics/repair.
• 2+ years field service or customer-facing experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation.
• Promotes a positive customer experience and serves as on-site contact for technical and service-related problems.
• Travel daily to customer sites within a 2-hour radius of the home office; overnight stays 65% of weeks.
• Submit prompt, accurate service reports affecting billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure.
• Follow safe work practices and perform administrative activities in support of service visits.
