Practical Applications, Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our water and wastewater service operations, supervising field personnel and ensuring reliable system performance for municipal, commercial, and industrial clients.

You will manage scheduling, preventive maintenance, emergency response, proposals, and service contracts while building strong customer relationships and guiding technician development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in water treatment, wastewater, or related service management.
• Strong knowledge of pumps, controls, filtration, disinfection, RO and related processes.
• Proven leadership and customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily field service operations and technician schedules.
• Coordinate startup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
• Serve as primary contact for service customers and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance agreements.
• Lead emergency service response efforts and safety compliance.
• Provide technical support to field personnel and customers.
• Monitor service performance metrics and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and service contracts.
• Manage department budgets and profitability.
