Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and 3 years of experience in operation, maintenance, and repair of W/WW systems and infrastructure, or 2 years in City of Odessa Water Distribution or Wastewater Collection divisions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate Water Distribution/Wastewater Collection crews and activities.
• Ensure safety rules, traffic control, and W/WW policies are observed on site.
• Coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and review completed work for conformance to work orders.
• Perform field inspections and ensure compliance with regulations and safety requirements.
• Coach and train staff; review performance and address issues.
• Inventory materials and equipment; manage supplies and costs.
• Maintain records of services, time, and materials.
• Ensure safe work zones and proper operation of equipment.
