Job summary

Aqua is hiring a Facility Operator Trainee to support wastewater facilities, lift stations, and distribution systems. Work under a Field Supervisor to perform operation, monitoring, and maintenance tasks across treatment facilities and pump stations.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and progression toward Class-B CDL with Tanker/Air Brake endorsements within 90 days. Training supports required licenses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License; CDL with Tanker and Air Brake endorsements required within 90 days.
• Within 18 months, pass a Water or Wastewater license exam.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains wastewater facilities and booster stations.
• Troubleshoots sewer collection systems and repairs piping.
• Performs routine water quality analysis and adjusts treatment.
• Maintain system documentation and close work orders as per policy.
• Assist with other tasks or projects as assigned.
