Job summary

Aqua is seeking a Wastewater Facility Operator to support our water production and wastewater treatment facilities across our network. Under the Field Supervisor, you will operate and maintain pumps, lift stations, and distribution systems while ensuring safety and compliance. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a valid U.S.

driver’s license. A CDL Class C with Hazmat endorsement is required within 90 days of hire; opportunities exist to advance licenses as part of our career

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment at water production facilities and booster stations.
• Operate distribution systems including mains, valves, hydrants and service lines.
• Maintain equipment at wastewater treatment facilities and lift stations.
• Operate sewer collection systems including mains and pump stations.
• Troubleshoot and repair service piping and related equipment.
• Perform routine water quality analysis in accordance with procedures.
• Adjust chemical treatment to meet water quality standards.
• Complete customer service work orders and document activities.
• Work safely and follow policies and laws.
• Assist with other tasks or projects as assigned.
