Job summary

Aqua Texas is seeking a Facility Operator to operate and maintain water and wastewater facilities within its Texas footprint. Training, safety equipment, tools, uniforms, boots, and a company vehicle are provided to support performance.

You will perform plant inspections, monitor process controls, collect samples, and maintain records while working toward relevant licenses. A clean driving record and Texas licensing readiness are required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• C well or Grade I Waste Water license a plus.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled plant inspections and act as Operator in Responsible Charge of assigned systems.
• Monitor gauges, meters and control panels; manage variations in the treatment process.
• Maintain records for production, maintenance and treatment.
• Collect samples and perform chemical analysis per sampling requirements.
• Extract samples and perform routine lab tests; document test results.
• Address service orders related to water distribution or collections.
• Be available for overtime and on-call responsibilities.
