Job summary

Qualifications

• Estimator I - 1-3 years of experience
• Estimator II - 2-5 years of experience
• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
• LEED accreditation preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite programs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs quantity takeoff.
• Assists in pricing project logistics including hoisting and temporary elements.
• Develops abstracts and evaluates basic trade bids.
• Understands indirect costs such as insurance, taxes, and fees.
• Develops pricing for basic project elements and assists in preparing estimating deliverables.
• Drafts subcontracts and purchase orders for review by senior personnel.
• Provides document control for assigned projects.
• Solicits pricing for projects in hard bid environments.
• Supports conceptual estimating efforts and develops basic models for review by seniors.
• Develops budget uploads and purchasing plans with oversight.

Education

Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience

LEED accreditation (preferred)
